Voneshta Voda village is named after the mineral water spring, which is highly mineralised and has a specific taste and smell. The water is suitable for prophylactics and treatment of gastro intestinal, joint – metabolite and cardio vascular diseases. Voneshta Voda village is situated 28 km south from Veliko Tarnovo and 20 km east from Tryavna on the northern side of Central Balkan Mountains at the entry of the Hainboaz Passage.

 

The climate of Voneshta Voda is characterised with warm but not hot summer, relatively mild winter. The air is clean and fresh. In winter and early spring southern wind is a frequent phenomenon. In summer, especially in the evenings, along the river banks of Belitsa and Raikovska Rivers the so-called mountain valley winds blow. They are not strong and bring freshness just like the sea breeze. The average annual temperature is 10oC. The beautiful nature, the clear mountain rivers, the crystal and fresh air create good conditions for recreation, relaxation and entertainment therefore the village is a popular tourist and excursion destination.
